Team
FAITH HENSCHEL-VENTRELLO
Faith served as Music Director at KCMU (now KEXP in Seattle) while earning her B.A. from the University of Washington, and spent the following twelve years as a music industry executive at Elektra, Capitol, and Virgin Records. In 1998, Faith and Steve Ventrello founded Parador Cellars, which produces Napa Valley Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Relocated to Napa, Faith worked in the music-based dotcom sector while helping to grow Parador. In 2002, she and Steve started a second company, Vintage Wine Marketing. Faith also revived KCMU as a low-power FM radio station and then…you guessed it, opened Folklore!
STEVEN VENTRELLO
Steve has a storied career in wine sales and marketing, and his superb palate is respected by oenophiles around the world. Since 1998 he has managed the production—including wine-making—of Parador. Erstwhile guitarist, accordion savant, Steve’s greatest artistry may well be Folklore’s varied, interesting wine program. Steve remains the President of Vintage Wine Marketing where he continues to source wine from Europe and California.

One half of Folklore is pure record store. It is filled with vinyl, both pre-loved and new. We attempt to represent as many genres as possible, while focusing on our favorites. Folklore is interested in buying your used records so just give us a call to discuss a vist if you have a large collection, or bring it by the store if what you want to sell fits in your car. We ask that records be in good conditions and we do offer to buy them or exchange for trade.
We also have an online record store which operates separate of our brick and mortar store.
